Job descriptionZOA isaninternational humanitarian organization, based inthe Netherlands, providing emergency relief topeople who are affected byconflicts and natural disasters. In2024, ZOA isoperating in14 countries. ZOA has been working inUkraine since March 2022.InJanuary 2023, ZOA started anemergency program inKherson and Mykolaiv for victims ofthe Russian occupation, providing assistance for medium and light house repairs, Multi-Purpose Cash assistance and Livelihood opportunities.PositionThe Project Manager supports the Programme Manager inthe realization ofproject and programme goals inKherson and Mykolaiv Oblast (from the office inKryvyi Rih), Ukraine and inaccordance with applicable internal and external preconditions and standards. Atthe moment, ZOA Ukraine isfocusing onshelter and livelihoods programming inUkraine.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProject cycle management including needs assessmentsPlanning, implementation and especially monitoring ofproject activities that were approved bydonors with the corresponding project budget planningLead the project implementation team with afocus onimplementation through cash modalityEnsure compliance with donor requirements inproject implementationInitiating and maintaining effective working relations with relevant stakeholders atprogramme area levelSupport Programme Manager incontact with the local authoritiesDriving the strategic goal oflocalization forward onarea levelGender and conflict-sensitive approach toteam management and project activities under her/his responsibilityHuman Resource Management (atindividual and team level) for program staffServing asthe line manager for Shelter and Livelihoods team members, involving recruiting staff, completing performance reviews, and providing guidance and support toteam members.RequirementsKnowledge / ExperienceGraduate level education, preferably masters levelMinimum 2 years experience inrelief settingsMinimum 3 years experience inpeople managementFully support the vision and mission ofZOAProject managementGood spoken and command ofEnglish and Ukrainian/RussianSkillsProject design and proposal writingData analysisNetworking and Relationship buildingLeadership and management ofpeople ofdifferent cultural backgroundsAttitudePassion toserve those inneedDeveloping others torealize their potentialIntegrity, honesty, transparencyWork conditionsThe duty station for this position isKryvyi Rih city, with travel inKherson and Mykolaiv oblast and occasionally toMykolaiv.Please submit you motivation letter and CV before 25 May 2024.The motivation letter and CV are accepted in English.
