Project Management Specialist (Shelter) in Karitas Ukrayini, Mizhnarodniy Blagodiyniy Fond

The International Charitable Foundation "Caritas of Ukraine" is looking for a Project Management Specialist.

Main duties:

• Performing operational coordination with local Caritas organizations regarding daily progress in the implementation of activities, in particular: preparing for the winter period, conducting humanitarian repairs of households and social infrastructure facilities, providing equipment for emergency situations, introducing sustainable energy equipment, providing financial assistance for rent housing.
• Monitoring the implementation of work plans and budgets by local teams, identifying deviations and informing the sector manager (Shelter).
• Providing methodical and advisory support to local teams on compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP), donor requirements and cluster recommendations.
• Participation in needs assessments, ongoing monitoring of the quality of work, provision of services and implementation PDM.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation for procurement (ToRs, terms of reference) and control its transfer in accordance with the procedures.
• Collection and verification of completeness and accuracy of data from the implementation sites (registration forms, monitoring, BoQs) and ensuring their timely entry into the common database.
• Preparation of regular operational reports and information materials for internal use and submission to the sector manager (Shelter) science, management, construction.
• Experience in the field of project management, administration or humanitarian/charity activities, with the practice of supporting project teams from 2 years.
• Experience in organizing meetings, events and coordinating field activities.
• Experience in communication with partners and beneficiaries,
• Experience in administration and documentation management, data collection, processing and preparation reporting.
• A confident user of Microsoft Office programs (Power BI and Excel).
• Proficiency in English at a high level, fluent in Ukrainian.
• Knowledge of MS Project at the level of an advanced user for planning, monitoring and control of tasks.
• Availability of written recommendations from a previous employer.

Necessary knowledge and professional skills:

• Professional knowledge in the field of project management and program activities, organization and coordinationfield events.
• Knowledge of project management, the basics of project activities and logistical support of projects.
• Knowledge of the basic principles of humanitarian and charitable activities.
• Knowledge of PMI project management methodologies

• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Flexibility, stress resistance, proactivity and results orientation.
