We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our company as the Project Lead Global Payroll. We have very big ambitions to assess our Payroll Solutions around the globe and assess the potential to standardize, harmonize, simplify, digitalize and centralize.

This is a project-based role for approx. 18 month

Key responsibilities:

• Accountable for end-to-end project delivery and ensuring successful outcomes
• A detail-oriented individual capable of developing project plans, managing budgets, allocating resources, and implementing risk management strategies
• Cataloging as-is payroll solutions and requirements and map out vs desired to-be payroll end state
• Evaluating, initiating and managing Digital Technology in Payroll projects
• Overseeing the IT landscape around Payroll and Time management solutions to achieve the target architecture
• Developing the overall project approach and ensuring incremental delivery of desired outcomes
• Directing the creation and maintenance of project documentation
• Developing and managing the project budget, controlling expenditures, and adhering to value delivery and spending plans
• Establishing appropriate project governance, ensuring project resources are aligned with outcomes,and conducting risk assessment and mitigation
• Review and benchmark payroll solutions in external market, and make proposals and recommendations based on BC organizational requirements and strategies
• Support in creation of business case for recommended best-fit payroll solution
• Providing regular project status reports to stakeholders, above all VP HR Digital & VP HR Operations
• Liaising and developing relationships with service delivery and global services organization on payroll projects and related applications
• Partnering with the Payroll organization, engaging in the design and deployment of time management, time evaluation, payroll processing, payments, and postings

About you:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business, HR / Economics / Project management or similar
• Minimum 10 years of experience in HR, preferable partly in Payroll
• Fluent in English – verbal and written
• Excellent leadership, people management and project management skills
• In- skills related to operational excellence & service management & control
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability and confidence to operate at senior levels with internal and external stakeholder
• Ability to think strategically, ensuring that HR priorities are aligned with business objectives
• Proficiency in using HR systems and strong analytical skills
• Flexibility and ability to operate and deliver under pressure
• Proactive and decision-making skills
