Since the 24th of February 2022, the war in Ukraine has shown no signs of abating and continues to drive increasing humanitarian needs across the country. The hostilities have resulted in civilian casualties that continue to grow and significant damage to infrastructure and buildings. The war has affected all spheres of life and uprooted millions of Ukrainians. For the implementation of the arche noVa`s relief measures in Ukraine, we are looking for a Project Coordinator (national position)Duration: until the 31st of December 2024, with the possibility of an extensionPosition to be filled: asapDuty station: city of Kharkiv, with regular field trips within Kharkivska oblastContract: consultancy or labour, with two months of a probation period Position SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Country Representative, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the smooth, efficient, and effective implementation of one of the arche noVa`s relief projects in Ukraine. For that purpose, the position holder will work closely with implementing partners.Key ResponsibilitiesOverseeing the implementation of a relief project in the framework of arche noVa`s humanitarian response in UkraineRunning the arche noVa field office and managing the project teamEnsuring project-related deliverables are completed in full and in a timely mannerFollowing up and addressing any issues that might emerge during the project implementation and adjusting the project work plan if necessaryServing as the organisation`s focal point with selected implementing partners throughout the project lifecycle to guide its implementation, ensuring compliance with donor`s and arche noVa`s regulations and requirementsAssisting the Country Representative in developing and reinforcing working relations with relevant authorities at the Oblast and community level as well as other stakeholders, e.g. business entities, community-based organisations, volunteers and active citizensGuiding the implementing partners` capacity-building to facilitate the project implementation and contribute to the achievement of set objectives; seeking, coordinating and overseeing capacity-building activities, e.g. training, workshops, awareness sessions etc.Supporting selected implementing partners in the project implementation, ensuring compliance with the high standards of humanitarian aid.Ensuring proper maintenance and updating partners` project files, including plans, trackers, beneficiary data etc.Overseeing partnership agreements, including preparing amendments when requiredEnsuring timely preparation and completion of the implementing partners' payment instalmentsWorking closely with the M&E Coordinator to consolidate and analyse data provided by implementing partners to both influence decision-making and contribute to reports to the HQ and the donorAttending relevant Clusters` and general coordination meetings and ensuring that information is internally shared Performing other relevant duties as and when requiredRequirementsDiploma/certificate in social science, economics, international affairs, development or other relevant areasAt least 2 years of demonstrated relevant experience, including a minimum of one year experience with NGOs/INGOs in the Ukrainian contextExcellent communication, networking, interpersonal and presentation skillsReadiness to travel frequently to the project sitesGood command of Ukrainian and English (both written and spoken) is mandatoryAbility to work independently but also in a team and coordinate with other teamsStrong computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) Strong self-organisational skillsAbility to work under stress and in a changing environmentBenefits and allowancesMonthly remuneration according to the organisation’s gridDaily allowances and reimbursement of travel-related expensesPaid annual and sick leavesDeadline for application: 15th of April 2024Please note that the interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, and the position might be filled before the deadline.How to apply:Please send your CV and Motivation letter in English to [відгукнутися]
