What needs to be done:

• maintain close communication with contractors (China 90%, Ukraine 10%) for the production of plastic and metal parts;
• work with the chief designer, accept and distribute tasks arising from the launch of new projects;
• synchronize the work of the Mechanical Team with the contractors in order to remove all possible delays during the start-up, inspection and coordination of samples, molds, stamps and other equipment
• control the deadlines for the completion of stages, tasks;
• identify blockers, time wasters, potentially risky situations. Look for ways to eliminate, improve and adjust processes.

Requirements:

• understand and apply process management;
• be able to respond to problems, look for root causes and make changes to processes;
• love changes, and be able to implement them;
• be sociable, make people want to help you;
• be systematic, be able to manage information;
• be on your side with Jira/Confluence;
• English at the intermediate level, not lower.

It will be a plus:

• have a higher technical education, understand (or learn) the basics of designing plastic cases, non-standard equipment;
• experience of working with Chinese contractors;
• project management experience in the development of electronic devices or experience in their development;
• experience with live large-scale production.
