Experience to do:

- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the field of management projects, program coordination, work with communities.

- Experience of working in non-governmental/humanitarian organizations, international funds, community reconstruction or development programs is a must. 

- Practical experience coordinating teams (engineers, social workers, assistants) and working with local authorities.

Level of PC proficiency:Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, Outlook work with online tables, forms (Google Forms, Excel Online. Dknowledge of working with project management tools (Trello, Asana, MS Project, or similar) basic understanding of monitoring systems (CommCare, Kobo, others - will be an advantage)

The candidate should know:

The basics of project management (planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting).

Principles of humanitarian work and reconstruction (Do No Harm, Accountability, AAP, PSEA).

- Features of work in conditions of armed conflict and territories close to the front line.

- Basic approaches of Shelter / Early Recovery / Cash clusters (priorities, minimum standards, types of interventions).

- Basics of budgeting and financial discipline at the project level (understanding of budget, cost lines, restrictions).

- Specifics of interaction with local self-government bodies, military administrations, communal enterprises.

The candidate should be able to:

-Plan, coordinate and monitor the implementation of project plans at the community/regional level.

-Manage the local team: set tasks, monitor performance, hold meetings, provide feedback.

-Build partnership relations with local authorities, communities, contractors, donors. 

-Represent the organization at external meetings (cluster meetings, working groups, coordination formats). 

-Analyze data from the field (reports of engineers, social workers, MEAL) and make informed decisions. 

- Prepare high-quality text documents: reports, information notes, letters, presentations.

-Work with the complaints and feedback system, ensure timely response.

- Organize safe and effective work of the team in the field (taking into account security restrictions).

Personal and business qualities: Highly organized, systematic, strategic thinking. Stress resistance, the ability to work in conditions of uncertainty and change. Responsibility, integrity, transparency in decision-making. Developed communication skills, the ability to defend a position with reason and at the same time remain flexible. High empathy, respect for the dignity of beneficiaries, sensitivity to vulnerability.

Proficiency in foreign languages:

Ukrainian - fluent (required) Russian - understanding/communication (if necessary with beneficiaries)

English - preferably at least B1-B2 level (for working with donors, cluster documents and reporting).
