Job purpose
To manage, support, and coordinate the projects to ensure quality implementation of URCS
projects/programs. Coordinate activities at all levels and with all Stakeholders (URCS HQ, regions, and Donors). Support technical subject matter experts in implementing their programs and communicate with Donors to achieve all project outcomes and outputs.
Essential Tasks:
- Participation in project initiation and planning
- Coordination of project communications (with the Donor, with internal departments)
- Control of project implementation (control of budget utilization, achievement of indicators, control of deadlines, orientation in budget lines)
- Initiate and control procurement in accordance with the organization's processes (if necessary)
- Holding regular coordination meetings with project participants
- Monitoring and control of project risks
- Preparing reports on project status, etc.
- Ensure that Project Implementation Plans are created, regularly monitored, and updated
- Ensure regular communication with National Level Partners, donors, and in-country partners
- In close collaboration with PRCS and ERCS, plan, implement, monitor, and report on the IFRC supported ECHO HIP Project.
- Coordinates with the other program/project staff and the Operations (Humanitarian Manager) to ensure
the synchronized delivery of outputs according to plan in the area(s) of assignment - Follow up on challenges and opportunities for the implementation of planned activities and coordinate immediate mitigation and adaptation.
- Report projects progress as requested internally and by external donors.
- Support the development and design of new projects, concept notes, and proposals as requested
- Manage project financial and operational processes. Ensure that internal and donor-specific quality standards are met and well documented.
- Ensure the project delivery is based on frameworks and approaches that are consistent with PRCS and ERCS internal standards and guidelines and IFRC policies, procedures, and tools.
- Ensures the logical project structure of effects and results according to existing guidelines.
- Follow -up with PRCS and ERCS on issues related to the daily running of the project.
- Actively monitor progress against set targets, timelines and financial indicators and engage with Partners to ensure quality and timely delivery of all planned activities.
Requirements
- Availability of higher education
- Work experience working in NGOs or Humanitarian Organization preferred
- Project management experience
- Business processes optimization experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in the Ukrainian language and English language - at a fluent level a must
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, databases, e-mail)
- Experience in communication with different categories of people, tact and diplomacy
- Developed organizational and executive skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team, quick adaptation
