CORE
CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is an international humanitarian emergency response organization that provides immediate relief and recovery to communities affected by crises and disasters. CORE works in Ukraine to support the urgent needs of internally displaced persons, as well as the local population affected by hostilities. Our programs focus on activities related to the restoration and repair of housing, the restoration of water supply systems, assistance and support in the field of food security throughout Ukraine, etc. CORE works in partnership with local non-governmental organizations and the government, local authorities, and also coordinates activities with international organizations and other partners.
Job description: In close cooperation with the Project Manager, the Project Assistant will work on the implementation of multisectoral humanitarian response projects (housing and water supply support) in Kherson and the Kherson region. During the implementation of the project, the project assistant will work in close cooperation with local authorities and CSOs to identify vulnerable households in Kherson and the region that need humanitarian assistance. He/she will help with beneficiaries and project documents.
- Support of the project manager in conducting a questionnaire of beneficiaries for inclusion in the project;
- Coordination of repair works with the contractor company;
- Participation in documenting damages and determining the approximate cost of construction works to eliminate the consequences of damage to housing, etc. buildings, as well as their parts;
- Assistance in coordinating the delivery of construction materials and ensuring documentation of distribution data;
- Assistance in reporting on the repair and construction process;
- Assistance in carrying out inspections to ensure the quality of repair works;
- Support of the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager in collecting the necessary information and statistical data.
