Project assistant / driver in Medair Ukraine

Overall Objective: Working as an important member of a diverse team committed to helping the most vulnerable with hands-on and compassionate care, the driver assists the team in traveling to scheduled locations to facilitate the smooth running of the Program. Project Overview: Medair's goal in Ukraine is to respond to host and vulnerable groups IDPs, as well as assistance in post-conflict situations. Medair currently uses a very flexible approach to programming due to the volatile nature of the region.Primary Duties and Responsibilities Transport team members to scheduled locations to facilitate the smooth running of the Program.Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any service issues to a Medair representative as soon as possible.Represent Medair during field trips, while driving safely and appropriately so that employees can safely reach the event location.Driving Medair vehicles in accordance with the standards set forth in Medair's vehicle policy.Reserving hotels and tickets for employees on business trips.Performing other tasks from the office manager. General responsibilities: Proactively support the line manager for other tasks as requested. Technical responsibilities: Application of Medair/European Passenger Transport Policy (eg use of seat belts) Ensuring vehicle compliance with safety standards. Checking availability first aid kit, water and safety equipment in the car Financial responsibilities: Submission of financial reports on all types of activities and resources Responsibility to the affected population: active support of the mechanism of feedback from beneficiaries - both positive and negative Qualifications / experience Professional qualification Driver's license without fines for breaking the rules help Work experience Minimum of 1 year working as a driver in a professional organization Languages ​​Fluency in Ukrainian Motivation professionalism Initiative and self-motivation Safety awareness Honesty Enthusiasm Team work Supportive team member Ability to maintain a positive attitude in difficult situations Good interpersonal communication skills Ability and desire to unite the team Adaptability Flexibility and creativity Ability to travel to within the region for project activities several times a week Possibility to sometimes work late or on weekends as needed Ability to cope with stress Technical expertise Organized and attention to detail Attitude to continuous learning and personal development.
