WeWorld Background:

In Ukraine WeWorld has been providing multi-sectoral lifesaving assistance in Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiev and Odessa Oblasts, and in newly liberated areas leveraging on existing partnership and capacity to timely identify and respond to needs.
WeWorld offices are so far established in Lviv, Kyiv and Kharkiv and within the next month in Mykolaiv.
Management responsibilities:
- Direct responsibility for collaboration in the planning, implementation and management of project activities, especially for the CASH component ensuring accurate and timely reporting according to WeWorld and donor timeframes and formats.
- Implement and monitor project activities and track the progress of activities, ensure the collecting of program indicators and provide on-time internal status reports.
- Provide supervision, guidance, coordination and monitoring of WeWorld and partner project staff, ensuring clarity over project plans and priorities and encouraging effective team work.
- Provide timely field activity reports and data in line with WeWorld internal procedures.
- Participate in regular staff meetings to ensure awareness of project objectives, and opportunity for feedback.
- Maintain effective and active communication with all the stakeholders. Make sure that relevant and necessary information is transmitted to WeWorld Management Team and colleagues.
- As for the CASH component implemented by WeWorld, ensure the prompt disbursement of the Cash Assistance and make the proper follow up, ensure the correct utilization of Kobo ToolBox platform for the registration, support the project’s MEAL staff in the creation of appropriate tools for the Post Distribution Monitoring, ensure reporting and accountability of the action.
Coordination and Representation:
- Develop and maintain appropriate, regular, transparent and supportive communication structures with the assigned project staff of WeWorld and the partners, as well as other relevant stakeholders, with the objective of ensuring good cooperation and partnership.
- Represent the organization with relevant actors and stakeholder in the area of operation.
- Perform any other duty requested by the line manager.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Completion of university studies
- Minimum of three years of relevant working experience
- Ability to work under pressure and ability to develop and work within a team
- Expertise in Microsoft office software
- Good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation
- Experience of and commitment to working in general humanitarian projects context
- Good communication skills
- The capacity and willingness to be extremely flexible and accommodatingin difficult and sometimes insecure working circumstances, ensure the setting of project Feedback and Complain mechanisms, and ensure the accountability to beneficiaries with follow up addressing possible feedback and complaints.
Languages & Skills
- Working language Ukrainian
- Good knowledge of English (oral and written)
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, maintaining effective working relationships with people of diverse cultural and national backgrounds
Desirable Knowledge
- Experience in humanitarian emergencies
- Knowledge of institutional donors and experience of proposals
- Experience in reporting
