Project and Finance Officer at the British Embassy in Posolstvo Britaniyi v Ukrayini

The British Embassy in Kyiv is looking for a project and finance specialist to join the team responsible for one of Britain's largest programs in Ukraine.

Responsibilities will include:

• Support in the supervision of the implementing partner/manager of the Fund Partnership for a Strong Ukraine (PFSU). This includes (but is not limited to): reviewing program management mechanisms, reviewing budgets, ensuring the quality of financial and narrative reporting, and ensuring the exchange of information between stakeholders.
• Supporting program budget monitoring
• Supporting liaise with private offices of ambassadors and the Government of Ukraine to facilitate meetings, if necessary, draw up minutes of meetings.
• Internal and external communication of program activities and successes
• Support in holding events or visits from London . Provide translation as needed
• Participate in the development and design of future programs.
• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop program and contract management skills, incl. stakeholder management, monitoring and evaluation, conflict sensitivity analysis and risk management. You may also have the opportunity to manage some additional bilateral projects for which you are more directly responsible.
