Organization "People in Need" has been operating in Ukraine since the beginning of August 2014, and since then humanitarian programs have been expanding rapidly. At this time, "Lyudyna v bidi" is one of the main humanitarian organizations in Ukraine that provides neutral and independent humanitarian assistance to people affected by the conflict.

General information about the employee role:

The program specialist provides support for the program department in the region. The program specialist works closely with other program departments and the program administrator. style="font-weight: bold">Internal Relationships: 

Works closely with technical experts. Coordinates with other program departments, the department of communication, logistics and finance.  

External relations:

Establishes and develops relations with local authorities, other organizations carrying out humanitarian activities and the territories of the region. 

Typical duties and responsibilities

- Responsible for needs assessment and contextual analysis.   

- Responsible for document flow of programs

- Supports the work of implementation partners. 

- Implements economic support programs.

- Responsible for selection of beneficiaries, communication with beneficiaries, processing of personal data of beneficiaries.

- Provides program reports (weekly report, donor reports, annual reports).

- Responsible for organizing archiving on SharePoint and ELO.

- May be involved in other humanitarian aid activities carried out by the organization.

Eligibility Requirements: 

Education and specialty:

Higher economic education (Bachelor or higher): economics, management, accounting and taxation, etc

Experience in the profession:

Preferably at least 1 year.

Necessary knowledge:

- Confident command of the Word package;

- Knowledge of governmental and non-governmental support programs

- Knowledge of the process of organizing grant competitions;

- Knowledge of the work of the private sector. font-style: normal">Necessary skills and qualities:

- Skills for working with applicants and grant recipients;

- Skills for organizing and conducting grant competitions;

- Communication skills with local authorities and representatives of the private sector;

- Skills for working with small and large groups people;

- Good math skills.
