Program manager of Socialization and psychological support (remote) in Charity Foundation Children of Heroes

Children of Heroes is a charitable foundation that provides long-term assistance to children who lost one or both parents as a result of the Russian war in Ukraine.

The mission of the charity foundation "Children of Heroes" is to pay tribute to Ukrainians who lost their lives because of Russian aggression, we want to give their children the opportunity to grow and develop. Our task is to create a favorable environment for them, where they can overcome difficulties, change their lives for the better and build a bright future for themselves and for Ukraine. 

Responsibilities:

• Creates a direction development strategy
• Studies global trends and innovations in his direction, implements them in the Fund as appropriate
• Searches for strategic providers and partners for implementation of support programs
• Manages program content ( creates, adjusts existing, initiates new assistance programs)
• Participates in writing grant applications together with the fundraising department
• Responsible for program budgeting and reporting
• Responsible for effectiveness of program execution
• Manages and develops a team
• Participates in the formation of a communication strategy to advance the direction among potential donors and partners, together with the fundraising and communications department
• Represents Foundation at meetings with donors and external events

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience and program management experience in the field of psychological support and/or socialization
• Management and mentoring experience
• Experience in program development and successful implementation
• Understanding of the grant application process
• Strong presentation skills and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, Google Workplace
• English language above average+
