GENERAL INFORMATION

BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a sector leader in the protection of people who have suffered from war, veterans, refugees and stateless persons. We seek recovery and integration for those we help. Our team protects people's rights and influences laws and decisions in Ukraine and the world to become fairer. We are actively developing a network of partners for localized support of those who need it. The fund is 13 years old. Today, the team of BF "Right to Defense" has about 1,200 specialists. Geography: 22 regions of Ukraine, as well as a representative office in Poland. More than 3,300,000 people have received aid since the start of the full-scale invasion. Our work was recognized at the national level: in 2024, the Foundation won the first place in the "Charity Ukraine" competition in the "All-Ukrainian charity" category, entered the top 10 of the Forbes Ukraine rating of "50 best charitable organizations" and took 9th place in the integrity rating of charitable foundations of Ukraine.

One of the main focuses of the work areas of the BF "Right to Protection" are strengthening the capacity of local organizations and the efficiency of the work of public sector participants and promoting the development of permanent, mutually reinforcing contacts and partnerships between them. Civil society organizations are important subjects that significantly complement the function of the state in providing social, humanitarian, educational and other needs of citizens. Therefore, they should develop and become professional, systematic and accountable in their work. BF "Right to Protection" focuses on work with CSOs working in the same fields as the Foundation.

BF "Right to Protection" is looking for a candidate for the position of Assistant Program Coordinator.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Helping the program coordinator to achieve the expected results;
  • Administrative and logistical support necessary for the successful implementation of program activities;
  • Working with documentation and materials (drafting, editing, translation, etc.);
  • Administration of databases (dash-boards), electronic folders;" support of internal communication between program team members;
  • Participation in the organization of meetings and events within the framework of program activities;
  • Preparation of timely reports for the Fund and donors in the agreed terms;
  • Preparation of documents, standard operating procedures and other documentation;
  • Professional requirements

    • at least 1 a year of work experience in international donor projects related to humanitarian aid and charity;

    • high self-motivation, independence, efficiency and the ability to meet deadlines - a must;

    • вільне володіння in Ukrainian and a high level of English (from B2);

    • excellent analytical skills, attention to detail;

    • readiness for business trips to the target regions of the project for organizational and monitoring purposes - mandatory.

    • having technical skills with Asana, Zoom, Google Workspace, Power Point, Canva, Excel, etc.
