Production Planning Specialist in Imperial Tobakko /Imperial Brands

Responsibilities

• Long-term and short-term production planning according to market orders and target stocks
• Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
• Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines
• Manage deadlines based on project expectations, monitors project's progress to ensure it's following the schedule
• Cross functional cooperation with central function, market representatives, production and technical service, quality and other involved departments in coordinating and planning production activities 
• Calculations, analysis, tracking and continuous work on improving performance indicators
• Support the business with minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials
• Maintain reports for production planning activities 

Requirements

• Prior experience in Supply Chain / Production Planning with manufacturing companies at least 2 years
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good knowledge of MS Office (advanced Excel skills are obligatory)
• Flexible and pro-active attitude with a desire for excellence
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced distribution environment 
• Excellent attention to detail
• Be ready to consider a 1-year contract with further potential prolongation
