We are looking for a specialist who understands sewing technology, knows how to plan the load, follows deadlines and is able to organize the efficient work of the workshop and the design department block.
Duties
1. Organization and control of workshop work
- Formation and daily control of the sewing queue.
- Acceptance of finished products, control of quality, quantity and completeness.
- Prompt resolution of production problems and non-standard situations.
- Coordination of sewing samples in the shop.
- Making decisions about sewing technology taking into account cost.
- Forming and updating estimates for sewing according to models.
- Control of remaining materials and accessories, conducting inventories.
- Control of the cost of materials and optimization of purchase costs.
- Reconciliation of deliveries, calculations and issuing salaries for seamstresses and craftsmen.
- Control of deadlines for delivery of finished products.
- Maintenance of schedules of shipments and receipt of finished products.
2. Development of models (designers, fittings, edits)
- Formation of the development queue for designers.
- Collection of references, technical wishes and all source materials.
- Checking of test samples, participation in fittings, fixation and transfer of edits.
- Control of changes in drawings and technical documents.
- Approval of models for the final assortment.
- Planning and control of product preparation in case of urgent or additional shootings.
3. Preparation for photo shoots
- Ensuring the availability of all models in the right sizes.
- Quality control and completeness of products before shooting.
- Communication with the content department and the shooting manager.
4. Procurement (control and approval)
- Participation in the selection of fabrics, fittings and additional materials.
- Formation of the need for materials in accordance with production plans.
- Control of orders by the purchasing manager: deadlines, compliance with needs.
5. Work with outsourced workshops
- Search for new partner workshops.
- Coordinating the sewing of test samples.
- Organizing the sewing of capsule, trial and additional batches.
- Control of terms, quality and mutual settlements with external productions.
6. Documentation and organizational part
- Maintenance of production tables and databases.
- Update of information on models, patterns, prices, production stages.
- Management of production cash register and reporting.
Requirements
- Knowledge of tailoring technology and understanding of the clothing creation cycle from idea to finished product.
- Ability to work with tables (Google Sheets/Excel), mastering basic formulas.
- Skills to analyze and plan production processes.
- Communication and ability to work with a team of different types of specialists (seamstresses, designers, content).
- Systematic, attentive to details, quick response
- Ability to work with large amounts of information.
- Ability to organize a team, set tasks and control the process.
