ABOUT YOU:
The Product Owner is the key stakeholder in the agile development process, responsible for the day-to-day execution of the product roadmap. They collaborate with the chief product owner to co-develop a roadmap and lead products and features throughout their full lifecycle. They work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver on the product vision:
- Co-own and executes product roadmap with the chief product owner.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
- Inspire and drive the squad to deliver great products:
- Decompose product roadmap items into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Ensure customer tickets are given appropriate priority and treated in a timely manner.
- Ensure products are ready for go:
- Document all new features to educate internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the production team to understand where improvements are needed to improve the implementation process.
- Be customer-centric and operate with a continuous improvement mindset:
- Perform customer interviews and participate in workshops to understand end-user needs and context of use.
- Conduct usability studies with end-users on existing product and prototypes to refine design and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor post-launch product performance to evaluate areas for future investment.
