The DOT Defense Procurement Agency is a state enterprise engaged in the procurement of equipment, ammunition, UAVs, food, clothing, fuel and lubricants for the Armed Forces and the Defense Forces.

We are currently looking for a specialist analyst in commodity market research (ammunition, equipment) who will be responsible for analyzing and agreeing on the technical characteristics of goods, preparing tender and technical documentation, as well as interacting with suppliers and the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the scope of defense procurement.

Job duties:

1. Analysis and preparation of the tender documentation in the part related to the technical characteristics of the product.
2. Evaluation of technical characteristics of goods, as well as interaction with suppliers to ensure defense procurement.
3. Interaction with the state Customer (Armed Forces of Ukraine) and its structural subdivisions on issues of coordination of calculation and technical documentation, technical conditions of items of supply.
4. Preparation of the necessary data for the organization and implementation of defense purchases in the part related to the technical characteristics of the product, technical documentation.
5. Analysis of technical requirements and characteristics of defense goods.
6. Development, coordination of technical specifications for tenders and defense purchases.
7. Participation in market consultations with suppliers and manufacturers, visiting specialized exhibitions and seminars.
8. Formation of specified internal documentation and preparation of draft responses to appeals.

Requirements for candidates:

1. Higher technical education in the field of weapons and military equipment, mechanical engineering, chemical technologies, explosives or other related specialty.
2. Experience of cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
3. Work experience in the field of production, operation, testing or procurement of munitions / weapons and military equipment (preferably in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Armed Forces or the Military Industry Enterprises).
4. Knowledge of state standards and technical conditions (DSTU, GSTU, TU) regarding ammunition and explosives.
5. Understanding NATO STANAG requirements (in terms of weapons and ammunition).
6. Experience in the analysis of technical requirements, tactical and technical characteristics of goods.
7. Basic knowledge of product certification.
8. Preferred level: English — Intermediate (B1).
9. Zero tolerance for corruption.
