The mission of the role:Launch and support the product development system of gas stations: through JTBD, experiments at sales points and unit economics analysis, increase the revenue and margin of the network.
Main tasks:
– Customer research at gas stations: interviews, observations, analysis of receipts together with the analyst.
– Formation of Jobs To Be Done map and product backlog hypotheses.
– Planning and launching experiments at gas stations, coordination with gas station managers and staff.
– Setting analyst tasks, working with ABCD analysis, unit economics, GMROI.
– Joint work with the designer and SMM: transforming hypotheses into a showcase, menu, promotions, communications.
– Formatting the results of experiments into standards.
– Preparation regular reports for management in the section "hypothesis > experiment > result > decision".
- Maintaining the rhythm of work: short sprints, prioritization of tasks, control of execution.
Requirements:
- Experience in product management, retail / HoReCa / e-commerce (1+ years).
- Understanding of basic metrics: conversion, average check, margin, turnover, ABC analysis.
– A practical approach to hypotheses: the ability to clearly formulate the goal, the expected result, a method of verification.
– The ability to communicate with the “field”: managers of gas stations, operators, not only with the office.
– Systemic thinking and discipline: bring tasks to the end, keep documentation.
Will a plus:
- Experience with Jobs To Be Done, product marketing research.
- Experience in fuel retail, convenience / FMCG, gas station cafes.
- Understanding or willingness to work with JTBD, Unit Economics, RAT-tests.
Format
- Part-time employment (test period 1 month).
– Regular visits to the gas station (we provide fuel).
– Work in close contact with the system architect, analyst, designer, SMM.
Success criteria
– There is a JTBD map and a product board of hypotheses for the gas station.
– At least 6–10 experiments have been conducted, of which 2-3 scaled into standards.
– Proven growth of key metrics (for example, average fuel, coffee/food receipt, margin, key SKU turnover) is shown.
– Created a basic set of standards for operators in key areas (fuel, coffee, food, promo).
