Linguamill () is an innovative language learning platform designed to help users learn languages quickly and efficiently. Our flagship mobile app, Linguamill Flashcards, allows users to build and manage their own vocabulary flashcards, organize them into sets, and learn through interactive training modules. We are also developing a web platform, Linguamill Experts, for language experts, teachers, and influencers to create and share their own vocabulary sets.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Product Manager to help us find our product-market fit, acquire our first users, and grow our platform. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for language learning and a knack for product management, even if they are early in their career.

Job Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Management:

• Develop and execute product strategies that align with Linguamill’s vision and goals.
• Collaborate with the CEO/CTO to define product roadmaps and prioritize features.
• Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product growth.

User Engagement and Acquisition:

• Identify and reach out to potential users and language experts to understand their needs and gather feedback.
• Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain users.
• Monitor user engagement metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Customer Development (CustDev):

• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights and validate product assumptions.
• Create user personas and customer journey maps to inform product development.
• Synthesize user feedback into actionable recommendations for the development team.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Communicate product vision, goals, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.

Platform Growth:

• Explore and identify new opportunities for product expansion and partnerships.
• Engage with language experts, teachers, and influencers to onboard them onto the Linguamill Experts platform.
• Foster a community of users and experts to drive platform growth and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-2 years of experience in product management or a related role, preferably in the EdTech or language learning space.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting customer development and user research.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Passion for language learning and education is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with mobile app product management.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of digital marketing and user acquisition strategies.
