Product Designer in SQUAD

Job SummaryTo work on the design system, we are looking for a detail-oriented Product designer who can work on granular tasks while keeping an eye on the big picture.You will be responsible for producing and maintaining documentation on components of the design system, as well as app paradigms and guidelines to encourage uniformity. Also, you will consistently promote the design system, and educate new and experienced team members on the system's previous, current state, and future direction.This position is suitable for people with disabilities and veterans with relevant experience.Responsibilities and DutiesCreate new components, collaborating with feature teams and design system developers on specs, structure, and rulesMake updates to existing components as needs arisePrepare component structure and usage documentation, as well as write information on paradigms, processes, and similar topicsReview design specs built by feature designers to assure they follow the most up-to-date patternsReview design system components in the dedicated app to ensure they follow all defined rules, visuals, and accessibilityBe a resource for design and non-design audiences to consult with for advice on accessibilityWork with teams to determine effective delivery dates of design system outputUtilize data and research to drive design decision-makingOnboard new teammates to the rules and processes of the design systemWrite effectively to communicate and justify design decisions to stakeholdersHelp create and maintain processes for managing, scaling, and updating the design system, along with continuing to be an advocate for the systemQualifications And Skills3+ years of experience as a Product Designer in designing for iOS and AndroidAdvanced proficiency in designing with FigmaExperience in creating reusable components and patterns, preparing supporting documentationBasic understanding of development principles to ensure feasibility of designs and effective collaboration with engineering teamsKnowledge of user-centered design principles and techniquesEffective communication and collaboration in a cross-team environment, including designers, developers, and product managersProven skills in leading the design requirements independently to arrive at solutionsAdvanced English and confidence in presenting and sharing your work with stakeholdersNice to haveProficiency with app design standards and accessibility complianceUnderstanding of designing experiences cross-platformFamiliarity with tools for managing design systemsExpertise in the design thinking processWe offer multiple benefits that includeThe environment of equal opportunities, transparent and value-based corporate culture, and an individual approach to each team member.Competitive compensation and perks.
