Product Designer in Vimmi Communications

Job Description:

As a Product Designer at Vimmi, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and enhancement of our SAS video solutions products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and meet the needs of our users. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design user-centric products that stand out in the competitive social e-commerce landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design projects that drive product-led growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Create high-quality user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that reflect a deep understanding of user needs and market.
• Create finished designs for desktop and mobile in Figma following design guidelines and general rules.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to inform design decisions.
• Analyse and research competitors, highlight main points, and create and support a competitors table.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designs.
• Spearhead product design efforts that shape product strategy and directly influence key business metrics.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in video technology and e-commerce to ensure our products remain competitive and cutting-edge.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Proven experience as a Product Designer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and product understanding.
• Proficiency working with  Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration purposes.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Awareness of the latest Web/Mobile UI/UX trends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with additional languages beneficial.
• Great communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain design decisions and advocate for new ideas.
• Proactive attitude towards taking ownership of projects and driving them forward.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
