Procurement Specialist in TCC Multi-Family Interiors

Job DescriptionThe Project Coordinator will be responsible for procurement and the logistics of materials on time to ensure the best cost for any assigned project.The project coordinator shall manage every single stage of the assigned active job: Submittals and samples, keep up to date the PO Log (reflecting the last selections from revisions and addendums), job import into BC, new vendor setup, buyout (issuing orders and processing orders acknowledgement and payment requests), clubhouse walk, material release, return, tracking and claims, weekly GS/PC meeting, shop drawings review, RCO creation, change orders tracking, close-out documents, repair order, and any other task related to material procurement that assure the complexion of the project.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Project Coordination Process requests for change orders (RCO) on repairs and material shortages. Order materials on approved change orders (CO)Communicate with vendors, carriers, and customers. Maintain and update records of material selections & extra expenditures. Attend Pre-Con/Scope and Pre-Buyout meetings. Creating submittals, gathering samples, and close-out documentsBuyoutReview and complete Schedule of Values (SOV) worksheet. Process import of project budget into BC. Create, issue and revise PO’s. Process order acknowledgements. Request and compare freight quotes from vendors and carriers. Request freight quotes from vendors. Maintain and Update PO Log. Review shop drawings and update buyout as needed. Process Payment/deposit requests. Set up accounts and negotiate terms & pricing with vendors. Project Coordination & Logistics (Active Jobs)Manage material release and coordinate deliveries on jobsites. Communicate timely any delays / changes on release of materials to the GS as needed. Process material returns and claims. Issue POs and/or revise POs to get material due to material pricing and quantity changes. Ensure club house materials are ready for the clubhouse walk with the GS. Assist Accounting to dispute charges and get discounts. Attend weekly GS/PC meetings. Requirements:Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. Able to work in a team environment. Education and Experience.Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain or Logisticsor 10+ years of experience may be substituted for the above requirementMinimum 3 years of experience in pricing and procurement. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience with Dynamics 365 – Great Plains/Business CentralStrong written and verbal communication capability. Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
