Procurement and Contracts Intern in Ukraine in Making Cents International

Making Cents International is seeking a Procurement and Contracts Intern to work on the USAID-funded activity. UNITY fosters vested ownership among young people in the country’s democratic, European future by mobilizing youth leadership of a values-based conception of Ukrainian identity grounded in innovation, engagement, and pluralism. The activity is simultaneously addressing the key domains identified in : building youth assets, fostering resilience, offering age-appropriate experiences for youth contribution, and strengthening the enabling environment, while intentionally and safely promoting dialogue and belonging around this pluralistic identity and incentivizing participation and leadership by historically marginalized groups.ResponsibilitiesThe Procurement and Contracts Intern’s tasks will include:Assisting with drafting bidding documents, evaluation reports, and contract award submissions, ensuring consistency in format and contentPreparing and formatting reports, tables, and chartsSupporting various project procurement activitiesPublishing procurement advertisements and awardsMaintaining status reports on procurement activities and progressAssisting with updating and organizing tracking documentsAssisting with contract and procurement audit processesOther duties as assignedRequirementsAt least 18 years oldCurrent resident of UkraineExcellent writing and verbal skills in Ukrainian and EnglishKnowledge of general business principles; prior experience supporting procurement preferredAbility to organize and prioritize workAbility to work independentlyStrong attention to detailStrong interpersonal skillsGood working knowledge of MS Office applicationsOur ideal candidate is recently graduated or actively working towards a bachelor’s degree in law, finance, accounting, or a similar field.Working ConditionsPart-time position which requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week for 12 weeks.Making Cents International is a certified B Corporation, founded on the principles of social entrepreneurship.
