Principal Data Engineer (AWS) (#1559) Київ, Львів, Дніпро, Вінниця, Івано-Франківськ, Тернопіль, віддалено Asa Principal Cloud Data Engineer/Architect you will provide engineering leadership tocreate and enhance data solutions enabling seamless integration and flow ofdata across our data ecosystem which includes AWS. Additionally you will provide senior level technical consulting topeer data engineers during design and development for highly complex and critical data projects. Some ofthese projects will include migration from the old ETL Data integration tool toAWS (Glue, Appflow and Lambda AWS apps). You will deploy application code using CI/CD tools and techniques and provide support for deployed data applications and analytical models. Responsibilities: * Develop data driven solutions utilizing current and next generation technologies tomeet evolving business needs * Ability toquickly identify anopportunity and recommend possible technical solutions * Work heavily within the AWS ecosystem, using AWS services * Drive ETL Data integration tool migration toAWS * Custom Data pipeline development (Cloud and locally hosted)* Provide support for deployed data applications and analytical models byidentifying data problems and guiding issue resolution with Data Engineers and source data providers * Provide subject matter expertise inthe analysis, preparation ofspecifications and plans for the development ofdata processes. * Ensure proper data governance policies are followed byimplementing orvalidating Data Lineage, Quality checks, classification, etc. * Promote arisk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices byadhering torequired standards and processes. Skills Required: * AWS data services (Lambda, Glue, Appflow, Data Pipeline)* Data pipeline development * Experience indeveloping Python applications * Deep knowledge and very strong inSQL, and Relational Databases * Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering orrelated field * AWS Solution Architect Certification Leadership Skills: * 2+years ofexperience ofbeing alead engineer and able tocoach/provide guidance topeer and junior engineers. * Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and professional speaking skills * Collaborative individual who excels inworking within ateam and with business partners toidentify, develop and deliver innovative data solutions * Influencing skills/ability.
