About the Role:

As a Java Infrastructure Engineer at Coro, you will design and build scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions, evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools, conduct POCs with new technologies, manage Spring upgrades, perform ongoing research, and work closely with development, operations, and other teams to ensure cohesive infrastructure development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep to the processes, standards, and designs that have been set within the team
• Ensure you and others continuously improve by proposing and then implementing new processes, designs, and engineering practices that make your team more effective
• Contribute to the definition of product features, including workshops with other product development teams
• Communicate the technical work of your team to other product development teams
• Take responsibility for supporting your changes all the way through to production
  

Required Competence and Skills:

• 5+ years of server-side development experience using Java
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Architect, capable of defining and enforcing architectural guidelines, best practices, and standards across the development team (70% hands-on dev tasks, 30% architecture design, monitoring, and documentation writing)
• Deep knowledge of Java Spring
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with MongoDB

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure and DevOps methodology
• Experience working with Redis and RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of overcoming scalability and performance challenges
• Deep understanding of multi-threaded programming
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts
