We are seeking a Presale Manager for our client, who provides a B2B eCommerce Platform for Manufacturing and Distribution in the USA. The client offers a unique opportunity for an exceptional candidate with experience in domains such as Enterprise software, ERP, CRM, and B2B eCommerce. The primary responsibilities will be leading the presale process for potential clients, preparing and conducting demo calls, and creating quotas for implementation. Responsibilities: Technical Presentations and Demonstrations: PreSales Engineers are responsible for demonstrating the eCommerce platform's capabilities to potential clients. This involves preparing and delivering detailed presentations and live demonstrations highlighting the platform's features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Solution Design and Customization: Tailoring the platform to meet each client's specific needs is a major part of the job. PreSales Engineers analyze the client's business requirements and design solutions that integrate seamlessly with their existing systems and workflows, potentially including customization of features or developing new functionalities. Technical Expertise and Support: As the technical expert in sales meetings, the PreSales Engineer answers potential clients' technical issues. These could range from questions about the platform's scalability to its integration capabilities. This requires a deep understanding of the platform's architecture, capabilities, limitations, and general IT knowledge relevant to the industry, such as data integration, API management, and cybersecurity. Collaboration with Sales Teams: PreSales Engineers work hand in hand with the sales team to understand customer requirements and help craft proposals that meet these needs. They play a pivotal role in identifying the unique selling points for each client and often assist in negotiating the contract's technical terms. Proof of Concept Development: Developing and overseeing proofs of concept (POC) to demonstrate to potential clients how the platform can meet their needs. This includes setting up a controlled environment where clients can see how the platform performs with their data and workflows.Feedback Loop: Gathering feedback from clients and prospects about the platform and its performance is crucial to the PreSales Engineer's role. This involves conducting regular client check-ins and surveys and hosting focus groupsoups to gather insights. This feedback is then shared with the engineering and product management teams to help prioritize features and improvements.Market Insight and Strategy Contribution: Pre-sales engineers must stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and evolving customer needs. This insight is valuable for engaging clients and contributing to the strategic planning of future product enhancements and market positioning. They often provide valuable input based on their client interactions and market understanding. Training and Documentation: This involves providing client training sessions and creating detailed documentation that helps clients understand and use the platform effectively. The team may also train internal sales teams on the technical aspects of new features and updates. Post-Sale Support and Relationship Management: Although primarily involved in the pre-sale phase, pre-sales engineers also play a role in the post-sale phase. They assist in the initial stages post-sale to ensure a smooth transition and implementation. This may include working closely with customer success and support teams, providing technical guidance, and addressing post-implementation issues.Requirements: - Great presentation skills;- Experience with software sales processes;- Experience at least 3-4 years of professional experience in similar roles in the following domains: Enterprise software, CRM, ERP, or B2B eCommerce.- Fluent English (at least C1)- Ability to work during North American business hours (flexible schedule, but you should be ready for business calls during American business hours).
