Energy engineer in Varus

We are looking for an Energy Engineer

to join our team at lifecell, a Ukrainian digital operator that has been on the market for more than 15 years, providing real freedom of communication. lifecell is part of the Turkcell group of companies, an international provider of converged telecommunications and technology services headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.

Ensuring uninterrupted supply of electricity to the company's facilities, maintenance of electrical installations in working order and their operation in accordance with the requirements of PUE, PBEE and other regulatory documents. Organization of reliable electricity supply and calculations for electricity.

3. Functional responsibilities

1. Working with OSR (distribution system operator) and their territorial divisions, suppliers, lessors, owners of electric networks. Conducting surveys and negotiations regarding connection, supply of electricity, organization of accounting and payment for electricity and related contracts, restoration of power supply.
2. Organization of operation and maintenance of electrical installations of external power supply of network objects:-

-2.1.    Ensuring performance and control of periodic maintenance (PR) of external power supply equipment.

2.2.    Carrying out timely and high-quality repairs, preventing accidents. Provision of emergency repair works. Increasing the reliability of work;

2.3.    Control of the technical condition of electrical installations in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents;

2.4.    Forming an order for additional works. Control over the execution of ordered works. Acceptance of completed works;

2.5.    Maintenance of documentation on electricity management in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and legal acts.

3. Control of legalization, control over design and construction of external power supply of new objects and modernization of existing, backup power supply of network objects. Checking design and estimate documentation; coordination of construction by contracting organizations.

4. Site management:

1. 
   
   1. Participation in the organization of payment for electricity, administration of supply contracts and other related contracts for objects networks, namely: withdrawal of indicators, execution of relevant acts, execution of contracts, additional agreements, extension of contracts, etc.;
   2. Control and resolution of problems related to the provision of accounting documents on payment for electricity;
   3. Resolving conflict issues with landlords, network owners.
2. 5. Operational works, Down site:
   1. Ensuring elimination of emergency situations. Operational negotiations with OSR, OSP, network owners, etc.; 5.2.  Urgent response to power outages and taking measures to restore power supply and prevent repeated outages; 

      5.3.  Troubleshooting of devices, their repair, installation and adjustment by own forces and/or ordering and control of work performance by a contractor. 5.4.  Connecting network objects to a backup power source during mass power outagesdisconnections, including with the help of mobile generators;

      1. Organization of power supply with the help of electric generators: 6.1 Preparatory actions for installing electric generators, including site search, negotiations, preparation of technical specifications for the contracting organization, approval project decision; 6.2. Ordering, control over the implementation and acceptance of construction and assembly works on the installation and connection of power generator sets;

         6.3 Ordering and control of commissioning and debugging works by subcontractors or independent execution of commissioning and debugging works;

         6.4 Organization and performance of technical maintenance of electric generator installations; 

         6.5 Control over the technical condition of electric generating sets, their timely refueling;

         6.6 Supervising the performance of work by subcontractors/employees on maintenance of electric generating sets, their timely refueling;

         6.7  Preparation of reports on used fuel for refueling electric generator installations;

         6.8 Organization of power supply using third-party power generators.

         7.    General organizational issues:

         7.1 Solving issues within the framework of job duties on interaction with other companies operating in the field of telecommunications;

         7.2 Submitting proposals for improvement of work related to the duties provided for in this instruction for consideration by the immediate manager; reporting to the immediate supervisor about all deficiencies identified in the course of activity and making proposals for their elimination;

         Language skills

         • Ukrainian - fluent,
         • English - basic level
         • PC skills
         • Confident user, incl. MS Office programs;
         • Driver's license
         • The right to drive a car (driver's license) category "B", driving experience

         Special knowledge / experience < /b>

         • Skills in performing installation and repair work in 0.4 kV electrical installations.
         • Availability of the III (and higher) electrical safety group for maintenance of electrical installations with a voltage of up to 1 kV;
         • Knowledge and skills of operation of the power supply system of communication facilities and communication basics;
         • Knowledge of PUE, PBEE and other regulatory documents by specialty;
         • Knowledge of instructions, orders, methodical, normative and other management materials for the operation of electrical installations, instructions for labor protection and fire safety;
         • Knowledge of the rules, order and methods of planning the operation of the equipment and carrying out repair work, accepting and handing over the equipment after installation and repair, putting the equipment into operation;
         • Knowledge of provisions, instructions and other guiding materials for the development and execution of technical documentation for energy supply;
