About the project:
We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join our team to manage and deliver Kafka, databases and other stateful workloads to engineers. You would be a part of our client's team, which is improving their internal platform.
Our client need a qualified person to run the new initiative which enables businesses to embed financial services products such as payments, deposits, point-of-sale credit and merchant cash advances directly into their customer journeys without the hassle of becoming a bank. So there is more like a start up environment rather than corporate one.
Teams will do most of their work remotely from home, coming together, in the office in Warsaw, at least twice a month to connect & collaborate with colleagues, what they highly value.

- Excellent knowledge of Java or Go ( Software Engineering experience is a must)
- Experience diagnosing platform issues in a Kubernetes production environment
- Experience with AWS
- Experience delivering cloud infrastructure with Terraform
- Be an advocate for containerization and cloud native solutions
- Excellent English skills (B2+)
- Operational experience of Kafka at scale
- have experience with engaging positively with users of an internal platform
- have experience with creating and/or managing custom Kubernetes operators, especially those related to stateful workloads (Strimzi, Koperator, Confluent, Supertubes etc.)
