Platform Engineer @ Raiffeisen Tech in Raiffeisen Tech

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our team working on internal platform development. The main goal of using this platform is to work “all as code”: infrastructure, configuration and applications. This allows different teams to work with the platform independently of each other and will not have to wait for other teams to make progress on projects. You will work in a scrum team, including other devops and a development team located in other countries.

• 3+ years experience with Kubernetes ideal OKD/Openshift
• Hands on Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD
• Experience with frameworks like Crossplane, Terraform, Ansible playbooks for building custom APIs and infrastructure as code
• Strong scripting skills, ideally Python, Bash
• Development background, with hands on experience of at least one programming language (e.g. go, java, python,…)
• Knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting, and analytics at the container level for APM tools, including Grafana, Prometheus
• Experience working with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructures, preferred both

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience managing and deploying applications in an air-gapped environment
• Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management
• Beeing able to work in complex environments
• DevOps mentality
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and working on Agile teams using collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, Github
