Employee's main activity:
As prescribed by a doctor, plan and carry out individual programs of treatment measures, assessing the physical condition of the beneficiary, in order to maintain, improve or rehabilitate the physical health of the beneficiary and prevent physical disabilities.
Basic responsibilities:
- Assess the beneficiary's physical capabilities using various procedures (eg, functional capacity testing) in order to work with the beneficiary to determine treatment goals and thereby improve their health and well-being.
- Develop and implement a physical therapy treatment plan, including physical therapy exercises for strengthening, stretching, manual therapy, prevention of complications from immobility (eg, contractures, amyotrophy, bedsores, respiratory disorders, etc.), gait rehabilitation, pain relief, and specific treatment methods such as neurorehabilitation, stump and scar management, etc.
- Provide therapeutic education to beneficiaries, making them agents of their own rehabilitation, give them exercises to perform (eg, strengthening exercises, self-bandaging, self-management of scars, etc.), teach them how to use assistive devices and orthopedic equipment, educate and counsel them and their caregivers on how to prevent and/or ameliorate conditions in order to speed up and improve treatment outcomes.
- Educate beneficiaries and caregivers on how to avoid injuries to develop preventive behaviors.
- Infoto warn the beneficiary about complications that may occur in the early and late stages; inform him about recovery times and about preventive behavior to improve results.
- Actively monitor and report on physiotherapy activities (correctly fill out beneficiary cards, forms, statistics and reports), as well as analyze these statistical data in order to improve the quality of services, maintaining the traceability of beneficiary data.
- Work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team (e.g., psychologists, nurses, physicians) on each beneficiary case to apply a biopsychosocial approach to their recovery plan.
- Participate in project and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Participate in weekly physical therapy training sessions conducted by the manager, supervisor or other organizers; show a willingness to improve practical skills, knowledge and improve the overall results of the provided rehabilitation.
- Take care of physiotherapy equipment, monitor its stocks, contact the activity manager of the team of physical therapists when it is necessary to make an order according to the activity, the costs of the equipment, to ensure its constant availability and the quality of the services provided.
- Report to the technical referent about any problems that arise during the work and provision of services, especially about the loss/theft/damage of medical equipment or medicines, in order to take appropriate measures.
- Supervise, train and delegate non-specific tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants.

Required: Diploma / degree in physical therapy.Experience:
- Preferred: 12 months of postgraduate work experience in the field of physical therapy (master's degree).
Knowledge of languages: fluent in Ukrainian; knowledge of the English language at the basic level B2 is desirable.
