Itera is looking for a PHP Developer who will join our Itera team to work for Norwegian customer, a product company that develops HR solution.

Customer delivers web-based solution primarily within the Scandinavian market by means of its Compublish platform. Using the subscription payment model, these solutions include legal content delivery, quality management, risk management, task/checklist and issue tracking, AI chatbots and more.

Following Itera’s core ‘Make a difference’ philosophy, customer aims to always improve things for their customers. Customer’s platform is developed and tested by two teams: onsite in Norway and in Kyiv with both teams working together as one under Agile / Kanban methodologies. The application layer is based on PHP technologies and is currently hosted with the AWS cloud.

We are looking for an open-minded person, who confess continuous self-development and able to solve challenging tasks under guidance\support or by himself. This position is ideal for those who are looking for opportunity to work in international self-motivated team and work with modern technologies.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Communicate with customer, gather technical requirements
• Development of web solution based on PHP
• Participate in early in planning of new solutions

Professional requirements:

• Knowledge about professional software engineering e.g. SOLID-principles, Clean Code, Separation of Concern
• At least 1 year of experience with PHP development (php 8.2 in use)
• Experience with Symfony 4 or higher (Symfony 5.4 in use)
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (jQuery)
• Good knowledge of databases and SQL, especially mySQL
• Experience with Doctrine and Twig is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Sass / Compass or Less
• Experience with Unit tests (phpunit in use) is a plus
• Experience with version management systems (Git)
• Knowledge in the areas of Unix / Linux and Apache web servers would be advantageous
• Good English — oral and written
