We’re looking for Backend PHP Engineers to participate in building our web applications and API within the existing ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial development experience, i.e., proven experience as a PHP Engineer with a strong background in PHP development.
• Familiarity with Zend Framework and the ability to work with legacy code.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs.
• Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in defining requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions.
• Develop and maintain backend logic and APIs for the existing monolithic PHP-based system.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the existing codebase to improve performance and stability.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
