Photo retoucher, photographer's assistant in Nayodi

About us

We create content for brands / wedding photography / portraits. We are looking for a "right-hand man" for our main photographer - someone who loves photography, wants to grow in the industry and knows how to perfect shots with retouching.

 Duties

On the shoot (Assistant):

• Preparation of location: Preparation of backgrounds, props and equipment for from the start of work.

• Working with light: Help in setting up light schemes, holding reflectors, changing nozzles (softboxes, etc.).

• Technical control: Battery charge monitoring, replacing memory cards, connecting the camera to a laptop (tethered shooting).

• Assistance: Helping the model with posing (fixing hair or clothes) and performing small tasks of the photographer during the process.

After shooting (Retoucher):

• Selection of material: Primary selection of good shots.

• Basic correction: Work in Lightroom/Capture One (exposure, white balance, framing).

• Detailed retouching: Work in Photoshop (cleaning skin, background, light plastic, removing unnecessary details).

• Preparation for release: Saving photos in the required formats and sizes for the client/social networks.

?? Requirements

• Sufficient command of software: Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom - a must. Knowledge of Capture One will be an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of the technique: Understanding how the camera and pulse light work (at least in theory, we will teach the rest).

• Aesthetic taste: Understanding of composition and color.

• Punctuality and energy: When shooting, you need to be fast and attentive.

• Willingness to learn: We are ready to share experience if you are ready to absorb it.
