Penetration tester in INFOTEH, DP

INFOTECH is a state-owned IT company that is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. For more than 7 years, we have been developing and selling software products under the MIA trademark. In addition, INFOTECH is an official provider of IT solutions for government institutions. Our projects cover a wide range of areas, including cryptographic protection, digital transformation, as well as IT solutions for medicine, education, finance, public administration and telecommunications.

Your tasks will be:

• Performing penetration testing (Pentest) of corporate information systems, networks and applications
• Identification of vulnerabilities and weak points in security systems and software
• Analysis and assessment of information security risks, creation of reports with recommendations for eliminating identified deficiencies
• Development and testing of information protection measures to increase the resistance of systems to attacks
• Interaction with other units to implement measures to improve security
• Preparation of technical documentation on tests conducted, results analysis and recommendations
• Participation in internal audits of information security and support of data protection policies

What is needed for this:

• Higher education (bachelor/master) in the field of computer science, information technology or related specialties, preferably with an emphasis on information security
• Ability to perform security analysis of systems, identify vulnerabilities and formulate recommendations for their elimination
• Basic skills in working with security testing and vulnerability scanning tools (eg Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite)
• Understanding of network security principles, operating systems and data transfer protocols
• English language (intermediate) for reading technical documentation and communicating with international sources

It will be an advantage:

• Experience in penetration testing and vulnerability analysis in corporate information systems
• Knowledge of information security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)
• Certifications in the field of cyber security (eg CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+)
• Programming or scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with cloud platforms and their security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Participation in internal or external information security audits
