Payroll Specialist in Galaktica

We are the Ukrainian product IT company Galaktica, which creates and promotes its own online projects in the most solvent markets of the world: USA, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, EU. We are actively growing and scaling, so we are looking for aPayroll Specialist to join our financial team of professionals!

You will join a team of financial specialists with the support of an experienced team leader. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and paying salaries, making basic company payments and supporting employees in payroll matters.

What will be included in your areas of responsibility:

• Formulate salary information and make all necessary payments.

• Send regular messages to employees via Slack bot.

• Communicate with employees regarding all payments and coordinate interaction between specialists.

• Conduct daily financial operations of the company.

• Organize expenses and income in 1C.

• Control account balances and ensure timely replenishment.

What skills and criteria are important to us now:

• Have a basic understanding of what salary, how it is calculated and paid.

• Proficient in Excel and Google sheets (Documents, Formulas and Functions, Working with Data, Formatting, Data Processing and Data Sharing).

• Attentive to details and able to maintain high accuracy in work.

• Have developed communication skills and the ability to constructively resolve disputes questions.

• Able to work effectively with large volumes of data.

• Have a high level of confidentiality and take responsibility for financial information.

• Able to independently organize your time, adhere to priorities and work within deadlines.

• Have experience working in a similar position from 1

• You speak English from B1.

It will be a big plus if you:

• Know how to analyze processes and have a tendency to optimize and automate them.

• Have a basic understanding of the principles of international and local payments (SWIFT, SEPA, ACH).

• Can structured describe processes and create clear instructions.

The company operates two charitable foundations that specialize in the rehabilitation of military personnel and assistance to military children and those affected by hostilities. Our company fully ensures the administrative activities of these funds and allocates funds for their main purposes. 

We regularly purchase FPV-drones, NRC and supply cars to our defenders.
