Patient Care Coordinator - Medical Receptionist in MindBody Talent

Job DescriptionRapidly growing specialty medical practice in Westchester County, seeks a polished and experienced Medical Receptionist/Patient Coordinator to join our growing, concierge style,medical practice. Must have 3 years prior experience as a patient coordinator or medicalreceptionist. This position consists of being the face of the practice so you must be super friendly, articulate and well organized.Responsibilities Include:Checking patients in/out for appointments.Obtaining fee for service.Scheduling patients and maintaining the physician's schedule.Coordinating complex new patient appointments.Maintaining patient EMR records and completing chart audits ensuring all patient data isaccurate and complete.Assist patients with the purchase of our private label supplements (in-office and via oure-store) from their individually designed wellness plan.Answering patient questions via phone, email, and patient portal messages.Obtaining and uploading medical records using HIPPA guidelines.Understanding and adhering to HIPPA policies.Acting as a liaison between patients and our physicians, supplement reps, and outsidedoctor’s offices.Skills Needed:Excellent written and verbal communicationProfessional demeanor with empathetic patient serviceExcellent communication skillsStrong attention to detailEMR experienceOrganizationMulti-taskingFlexibilityTeam-player attitudeMust have 3 years prior medical office experience.Proficient computer skills, EMR, Microsoft, Excel, Word and MAC computers.We are passionate about education, research, development, and advancements in the medical community. This position has anopportunity for growth.Our hours are Mon-Fri 9:00 am-5:30 pm with the flexibility to stay later when needed.
