Man in Need organization has been operating in Ukraine since the beginning of August 2014, and since then, humanitarian programs have been expanding rapidly. Currently, "Lyudyna v bidi" is one of the main humanitarian organizations in Ukraine that provides neutral and independent humanitarian assistance to people affected by the conflict.

General Position Information

Under the overall direction of the Partner Engagement Manager, Specialist on issues of interaction with partners, will facilitate the coordination of all relevant partnerships for humanitarian response in Ukraine, in particular in capacity-building activities in accordance with the partnership strategy and annual plans; development and application of tools for institutional assessment and capacity development plans; cooperation in needs assessment, supporting the implementation of capacity building plans and monitoring. 

Typical duties and responsibilities:

  • Search and involvement of new partners;
  • Participate or initiate activities: assessment, partner/actor mapping, assistance and other tasks as assigned;
  • Based on the results of the capacity needs assessment, develop a partner capacity development plan and ensure its timely implementation;
  • li>Ensure implementation of project activities in accordance with approved work plans involving partners and stakeholders at all levels;
  • Organize trainings, events and provide support for capacity building of the PIN partner network;
  • Preparation requests, contracts, relevant documents according to the PIN policy, collection of supporting documents;
  • Work closely with the Partnership Development team and other relevant departments to prepare and update the Partnership Monitoring Tool;
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on activities, including data collection and analysis and drawing up regular reports on the progress of work;
  • Support in the process of budgeting and preparation of applications;
  • Get involved in monitoring and other activities (sessions for summarizing the results, etc.);
  • Higher education in economics, data management, marketing. Master's degree in the field of project management, public management and administration, as well as in any other related fields;
  • 1 year of work with CSOs, municipal authoritiespractical self-government. Proven ability to coordinate with diverse staff groups, stakeholders and local authorities, building and maintaining good relationships;
  • Experience in organizing events;
  • Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills with attention attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively with team members;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and respect for key humanitarian principles;
  • Experience in facilitation and/or trainings;
  • Computer skills (for example, Microsoft Word and Excel) and the ability to type in English;
  • Professional command of the English language (required);
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn.
