Finn Church Aid Ukraine is looking for aPartnership Coordinator, that will play an important role in managing FCA's ability to evaluate and select effective local partners in Ukraine and to lead FCA's efforts to increase the programmatic and administrative capacity of partners, adhering to the standards set by the FCA Partnership Policy.
Main areas of work in the position
Coordinate the partner network:
- Coordinate the FCA partner network, in including developing a map of potential partners.
- Evaluate the activities of FCA UKRCO and partners to identify long-term partners, focusing on increasing the presence throughout Ukraine.
Development of partner mapping methods:< /p>
- Collaborate with the program team on the development of partner mapping methods, making sure that they meet the requirements of the FCA Partnership Policy and comply with the national strategy and global policy of FCA in Ukraine.
Implementation of partnership assessment tools:
- Manage the partnership assessment process for selected local CSOs/NGOs using approved tools, processes and procedures.
Primary contact and oversight:
- Be the primary point of contact between FCA program and support teams and partners on administrative matters, including monitoring of contracts and compliance.
- Ensure partners adhere to contract terms and administrative standards in close cooperation with the program and FCA support teams.
- Assist the FCA program and support teams in solving issues related to compliance with contracts with partners.
- Assist the FCA teams as well as partners in the proper the process of finishing the project.
- Responsible for submitting partner estimates and proposals to the central office.
- Ensure that all agreements with partners are prepared and signed.
- Conducting all kick-off meetings, introductory briefings , trainings for the smooth and effective launch and implementation of projects.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE POTENTIAL OF PARTNERS
Development and implementation:
- Lead the development of strategies sharing experiences and building capacity based on partnership assessment results and compliance needs, as well as needs identified by FCA program and support staff during project implementation.
- Identify capacity building priorities, ensuring ttechnical oversight of administrative aspects and compliance.
- Collaboration with FCA departments (administrative, financial, HR and programmatic) to develop and deliver training programs tailored to the capacity building needs identified during the partner assessment.
Field missions and supervision:
- In coordination with project managers and FCA support staff, make regular visits and trips to partner offices and provide technical and operational recommendations, support and supervision, paying special attention to administrative and legal compliance issues.
Adherence to the reporting schedule:
- Responsible for compliance by partners with reporting schedules (monthly, quarterly, annual and final reports) required by the FCA and the donor funding the project.
- Monitor the timeliness of the submission of reports and respond to comments and suggestions from FCA project managers.
- As necessary, provide information to reports, in particular, on building the potential of partners.
- Ensure that the process of closing projects takes place properly and with due diligence.
- Control over the approval of all necessary final reports (program and financial).
A candidate for this position must have:
EDUCATION: Higher education in business, finance, economics or related fields.
LANGUAGES: Fluency in Ukrainian and English at a professional level (Please send resume in English).
EXPERIENCE:
- It is desirable to have proven international experience of working in NGO projects, ideally in the field of partnership and capacity building for national programs;
- Excellent organizational skills: the ability to work in a multitask, learn quickly, work independently and productively in conditions of a fast pace and focus on details;
- Experience in implementing partner programs in crisis situations that have developed in Ukraine;
- Experience in developing courses and conducting trainings;
- Good presentation skills;
- Experience in managing people will be an advantage;
- Experience with finance is desirable;
- Experience in conducting humanitarian interventions through and in coordination with partner organizations;
- Adherence to deadlines and the ability to work at a fast pace;
- Advanced MS Excel skills are desirable;
