Robert Half is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal with LIHTC experience for a company located in Ohio. This position can sit on a mostly remote basis3+ years of previous experience as a Paralegal - real estate industry preferredAny knowledge of Tax Credit real estate closings and HUD application preparation is a plusClosing or Junior Associate experience in these areas are a plus.Requires a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. You can handle multiple projects and priorities in a timely and professional manner. Effective and timely verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization. Interpret various real estate reports and create appropriate action plans within deadlines Your ResponsibilitiesDevelopment FunctionsResponsible for the due diligence process leading up to and including closing while maintaining high standards of quality and extreme attention to detailDraft and finalize organizational documents and purchase agreementsAssist in preparation of various types of real estate applications including but not limited to Low Income Housing Tax Credit applications, HUD insured loan applications, and USDA loan applicationsOrder and review title and surveyManage the due diligence process with lenders and equity providers from inception to closing, - Should be savvy with word processing and spreadsheets Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively Confidence in taking ownership of projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation Knowledge of HUD Commercial real estate experience Comprehensive knowledge of Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) Detailed, accurate, and an ability to handle confidential informationIt is an excellent opportunity to provide training to support staff while fostering case management skills and client relationships.
