Optical Design Engineer in Sumix Ukraine

Sumix is a leading company in end-face testing equipment for fiber-optic connectors. We are developing opto-electronic devices for fiber-optic connector end-face measurement and visual inspection. We are seeking for talented Metrology engineer to engage in our existing and new coming projects.Responsibilities and Duties:Optical schemes design (objectives, illumination schemes)Tolerances calculation/analysis of optical schemes and componentsAnalysis/review of calculated optical schemes (prepared by other specialists)Drawings and documentation for production preparing (drawings of optical parts and schemes)Review of drawings prepared by other specialistsCommunication with optics manufacturers (questions about drawings and finished partsControl of received optical partsCooperation with other departments during assembling and adjusting of the device (assembling department, programmers, metrologists)Direct involvement in solving problems during assembling and adjusting of the deviceQualification and Skills:Master’s degree in Physics, Optics, instrument making industryPractical experience — at least 3 yearSkill to work in teamSelf motivationMotivation to trainWe offerOpportunity to influence the products qualityChallenging tasksCompetitive salaryPE accounting and supportFlexible working hours20 paid vacation days and 5 sick-days per yearOffice near «Klovska» subway stationFree lunchesProfessional growth
