In this role, you will serve as our Operations Manager, working with the Senior Director of Operations on managing inventory from PO to final customer, acting as the communications liaison with external vendors, including a 3pl warehouse, and guiding the internal strategy and visibility regarding inventory and operations management. This individual will be responsible for managing the 3pl warehouse, PO management, inventory allocation & flow, outbound fulfillment, and wholesale.If you are a dependable teammate who loves precision, organization, and shifting priorities to meet the needs of a dynamic business climate this could be a great opportunity for you!IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:Manage 3rd party warehouse logistics partner to ensure on-time delivery of product to customersMonitor and track inventory receiving including cutting, splitting and receiving POsSupport seasonal inventory planning and regularly monitor inventory levels to identify opportunities for re-supply of key product stylesManage inventory product life-cycle from cradle to grave through inventory aging reports, sell-through analysis, and partnering with accounting on overall inventory healthEvaluate and troubleshoot inventory discrepanciesWork closely with design team and marketing team on incoming product for sale-readiness, ensuring inventory is accurately received and put-away in support of product launches and wholesale distributionEnsure vendor compliance for product shipments to largest wholesale partners Develop cost-effective shipping strategy to transport product from overseas suppliers to warehouse and large wholesale partnersSupport launch of new products and collections on Oiselle.com website through our e-commerce platformEvaluate new opportunities for more streamlined and automated operational processes across the organizationManage direct reports as the operations department growsKEY ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Demonstrates strong communication skills. Can speak and write succinctly across a variety of communication channels and is able to adjust style appropriate to the intended audience.Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.Inspires trust and collaboration with colleagues; is an avid listener, brings a curious mind, and is an active problem-solver to help the organization, process and systems move forward together.Able to juggle multiple requests and analyze what is important to prioritize; is confident in taking initiative or asking for assistance when needed.Detail-oriented, with emphasis on precision, accuracy, and follow-through to completion of assigned tasks and processes.Comfortable working with multiple systems to process transactions while maintaining consistency in execution.
