The Operations Manager serves as an important customer service contact for staff, donors, volunteers and the general public. The Operations Manager is responsible for all general administrative functions, bookkeeping and data management and reporting. Requirements of the Operations Manager: Bachelor’s degree and prior non-profit experienceBookkeeping experience, preferably in a non-profit environmentResilient and adaptable to changing and challenging situationsStrong organizational skills and demonstrated ease in handling multiple projects at onceEffective communication skills, both oral and writtenComputer literacy in Microsoft Office packageStrong preference to experience with NetSuite and Salesforce and/or other CRM softwareDatabase management and reporting experienceCurrent and valid Driver’s LicenseBenefits of the Job: Salary range $48,000 – $52,000Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote)Generous PTO including 11 paid holidays and 2 floatingRetirement plan with 3% matchEmployer paid healthcare Responsibilities of the Operations Manager: Serve as organization’s first impression for all phone/general email/mail inquiries.Responsible for managing chapter’s accounts receivable and accounts payable and provide reports on cash flow activity to CEO.Liaison with chapter’s payroll company to manage payroll submission and staff PTO management.Serve as chapter’s main point of contact with Shared Financial Services (SFS).Oversee all aspects of gift processing including data entry, acknowledgments, honor memorials, and consistent reconciliation with finance (SFS).Data entry and coding of chapter’s corporate purchasing cards.Negotiate and administer contracts for office equipment, supplies and inventory.Oversee and prepare complex database queries, exports, imports, and custom reports utilizing CRM/Salesforce. This may include, but is not limited to preparing dashboards, campaign reports, segmentation lists, mailing lists, donor recognition lists, volunteer data, sensitive wish child and family data, and financial reports.Maintain up-to-date documentation of policies and procedures for all key processes and technologies and create monitoring systems to ensure compliance against internal and external standards.General office management and contact for property management company.
