Our partner - a manufacturing company in the defense sector is looking for an OPERATING DIRECTOR

Job chain: Provide effective management of the operational activities of the manufacturing company, including production, logistics, procurement and operations interaction with the commercial function through the construction of system processes, to ensure the manageability and efficiency of the enterprise.

Functional duties:

• Management of the company's operational activities, including production, logistics, procurement, technical control department and operational interaction with the commercial unit.
• Building the company's operational management system: implementation of structured management processes, definition of areas of responsibility and formation of operational discipline.
• Organization and optimization of production processes in order to ensure production efficiency, stability of operational activity and compliance with production plans.
• Implementation of operational procedures, work standards and a system for monitoring the performance of tasks in production and operational divisions.
• Management of the company's supply chain, including procurement, logistics and warehouse inventory management.
• Ensuring effective interaction between production, logistics, procurement and the commercial function of the company.
• Control of the execution of production plans, order fulfillment periods and operational efficiency of production.
• Implementation of a system of management reporting and key operational indicators to control the effectiveness of operational divisions.
• Management of production teams, development of managerial competencies of division heads and formation of a culture of responsibility for the result.
• Optimization of operating costs, increasing the efficiency of the use of resources and production capacities.
• Participation in the strategic development of the company and the implementation of production projects.

What is important to us:

• Higher education in: engineering, production management, technical sciences
• or related areas
• from 5 years of experience in production companies;
• experience in managing the operational activities of the enterprise;
• experience in managing production teams;
• experience in construction or transformation of operational processes;
• experience in implementing production management systems;
• experience in logistics and procurement management;
• technical understanding of production processes.

• ability to work in a dynamic production environment
