Open data analyst (strategic analytics) / Strategic Information Analyst in Human Capital Ukraine

For our client, an international organization, we are looking for candidates for the position Open Data Analyst /StrategicInformation Analyst

The focus of the role is to provide projects with quality data for making strategic decisions.

Place of work - Ukraine. 

The position is ideal for professionals who work with open sources of information, information flows, digital environments and/or in the field of information analytics, business analytics, anti-fraud, economic security, compliance, etc. 

Main responsibilities

• Collection, structuring and analysis of information from open digital platforms, public registries, social networks, media, technical resources and specialized databases.
• Monitoring information environments to identify potential risks, trends, incidents or abnormal activity.
• Monitoring the dynamics of threats, the activities of certain groups, technological changes and information campaigns.
• Preparation of analytical reports, risk assessments, activity profiles and strategic reports.
• Analysis of digital footprints, patterns of behavior in information ecosystems, geopolitical and social factors.
• Formation of recommendations for programs and partners on responding to risks or using the obtained data in project work.
• Providing analytical support for projects in the field of security, cyber resilience, strategic communications.
• Using modern search methods, data verification and digital footprint analytics.
• Using analytical platforms, visualization tools, digital intelligence methodologies and data validation.

Requirements for candidate

• Experience of analytical work in the field of security, research of information environments, digital data, strategic analytics or related areas and/or in the field of information analytics, business analytics, anti-fraud, economic security, compliance, etc.
• Understanding the principles of collecting, structuring and verifying information from open sources.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data, find patterns, compare information and draw informed conclusions.
• Ability to prepare structured analytical materials for various audiences, including management.
• Developed critical thinking skills, attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information.
• Fluent command of Ukrainian and English.
