GO"Greenland" in partnership with Norwegian National Aid (NPAid) invites specialist in occupational safety and health to successfully fulfill the tasks of the project "Preparedness and protection" in case of conflict", which is aimed at raising public awareness of security during crisis situations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and regularly update safety and health plans for projects in accordance with internal policies and international standards;
- Control of compliance with security protocols during all project activities, including trips to field locations;
- Identification, assessment and monitoring of potential risks for staff, trainers and event participants;
- Conducting regular briefings, trainings and education on security issues for staff;
- Coordination of actions in case of occurrence emergency situations and ensuring prompt response;
- Interaction with local authorities, partners and other stakeholders on safety and occupational health and safety issues;
- Preparation of reports on the state of safety, incidents, potential risks and recommendations for their minimization;
- Advising management and the team on occupational health and safety best practices and risk management.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Experience in the field of safety, occupational health, risk management or HSE/Safety Officer (experience in the humanitarian sector will be an advantage);
- Knowledge of national and international security standards;
- Responsibility, the ability to make quick decisions in stressful situations;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Proficiency in the Ukrainian language, knowledge of English will be an advantage.
