Observability and Monitoring Engineer/Architect in Dataweb Global Group

The Dataweb Global Group company, a provider of infrastructure IT solutions, is looking for a specialist in the role of Observability & Monitoring Engineer/Architect to ensure centralized monitoring of the company's products, as well as the implementation of the Monitoring As A Service concept within the company. The company was founded in 2002 and provides complex solutions for IT infrastructure (Dedicated Servers, CDN, Collocation, and Cloud Servers solutions). Our clients are international highly loaded projects: online cinemas, Ad/CPA networks, FinTech, SaaS and file sharing networks. We have 21 points of presence in the USA, Europe and Asia. Main responsibilities: Analysis of requirements and determination of the goals of the monitoring system for the company's products and services. Collection and analysis of requirements for alerts, reports and interfaces for various users of the system. monitoring system with the Company's products and services Development of a strategy for scaling and ensuring system fault tolerance Design and development of a tool for flexible escalation of problems between the company's operational teams Development of report dashboards for different groups of users Development and implementation of measures to ensure data security and access to the monitoring system Regular analysis and optimization of system operation, including performance of data collection and processing Organization of support for users of the monitoring system Development and maintenance of documentation user of the monitoring system Requirements: Deep knowledge and understanding of the principles of linux, IaC principles, Ansible, Git, Terraform Experience supporting CI/CD, GitlabCI, working with Docker, Kubernetes, understanding the OSI model, TCP/IP stack Experience configuring log collection and analysis systems, ELK or any otherExperience in setting up and implementing tools for application performance monitoring (APM), NewRelic, DataDogExperience in working with Prometheus, Zabbix, Grafana for collecting metrics, alerting and visualizationPython or any other language for developing custom integrations and automating tasksExperience in creating and scaling a monitoring systemKnowledge of the principles of working with large volumes of data, including their collection, storage and analysis Understanding of the basic principles of client architecture patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM, etc) Desirable: Certification in ITIL Communication skills with development teams, operational teams and peers Experience in writing effective processes for on-call teams We offer: Competitive payment The opportunity to work anywhere in Europe (we provide technical support and we organize the workplace) 25 working days for rest annually, as well as paid sick leave.Benefits: lunches, insurance, English language courses, corporate events and gifts.
