MSF is a civil society initiative, which unites people who want to help other people in crisis situations. Thus, MSF is an association by its own choice.

Main goal:
Provide nursing care, treatment, and follow-up to beneficiaries in accordance with physician orders, service protocols, and universal hygiene standards/precautions to ensure quality and continuity of care for the target population.
Responsibilities:
Organization and implementation of care and treatment as prescribed by the doctor, as well as assistance during consultations, daily rounds and other medical procedures. Participating in health education of the beneficiary (and family), if necessary.
Identifying victims of sexual and gender-based violence and referring them to the medical team so that they can receive the necessary treatment. Knowledge and awareness of the importance and appropriate use of post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) kit.
Ensuring proper reception and accommodation of beneficiaries and providing assistance to those who are unable to move independently, especially with regard to their feeding, personal hygiene, mobility and comfort. For the emergency room nurse and ambulatory nurse who triages beneficiaries in waiting areas, wards or during emergency situations, it is necessary to identify first-order acute/urgent cases, provide first aid to victims and refer them to a doctor if necessary
Dispatch of materials for sterilizationand pick it up after sterilization
Hospitalization, observation and follow-up of beneficiaries (i.e. assessment of the development of their health status and detection of any emergency or deterioration)
Conduct and control of administrative procedures and documents (filling in beneficiary cards, forms, expenses, statistics, registers, medical records, etc.), ensuring appropriate written/oral transmission and reporting any problematic situations and incidents that may arise. Participating in the collection of data and informing doctors/supervisors.
Participating in the control and maintenance of pharmaceutical stocks and medical equipment in the department (quality and its functioning, storage conditions, control of stocks of expired drugs, inventory of drugs and materials during each shift of the team, ensuring that materials are not removed from the nursing area / ward without prior authorization etc.)
Performing cleaning and minor maintenance of biomedical equipment in use. Adhere to user manual rules and protocols and notify supervisor in case of malfunction.
Supervise and train nursing assistants, food control assistants, cleaners and other relevant staff under his/her supervision, ensuring teamwork and adherence to all relevant protocols and procedures.
Features of the MSF unit:
Currently, the project is based in the Dnipropetrovsk region - activities are carried out in the cities of Pavlograd, Shakhtarske and Synelnikove.

Experience:
Knowledge of languages: fluency in the Ukrainian language; knowledge of the English language is desirable.
