We also contribute to the modernization of electrical networks and the electrification of uses, through hydrogen to decarbonize the transport and industry sectors.Job DescriptionWe are recruiting for experienced nuclear process/fluid systems engineers to join our teams on site in Lyon, and be part of the construction of 6 new European Pressurized Reactors across France in the coming years as a vital part of France's nuclear future and Assystem's continued growth. This is an exciting role which will require relocation to Lyon, France (relocation support will be provided). The Nuclear Fluid Systems Engineer will be in charge of carrying out engineering studies for new nuclear projects, particularly in the design of systems in the Preliminary Project Phase (APS), then Detailed Project Phase (APD) or Basic Design (BD). More specifically, your missions will be to: Sizing studies for the design of hydraulic installations The equipment for each system and present their operating principle Design choices The architectural file in detail and contribute to the writing of chapters of the Safety Options File (DOS) Detailed notes detailing the main interfaces of these systems Simplified mechanical diagrams to visualize these designs Will participate in various technical reviews with our client, as well as exchange with other professions within our team (Cooling System, HVAC, Control Command, Installation, Electrical Systems...) also working in the preliminary project phases on their own systems.
