About the position
We are looking for a motivated and experienced NTS/EORE coordinator to lead NTS/EORE operations within the humanitarian demining (HMA) program. The NTS/EORE Coordinator will be responsible for the safe, efficient and effective execution of NTS/EORE activities, ensuring compliance with DCA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) and national standards.
This role requires proven field operations leadership experience, deep technical knowledge and the ability to lead and motivate NTS/EORE teams in challenging environments operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- The NTS/EORE Coordinator provides leadership to DCA NTS/EORE teams in assigned areas of operations.
- Ensures implementation of NTS/EORE processes in accordance with DCA, NMAS, and IMAS SOPs, including desk studies, individual interviews, focus groups, key stakeholder interviews, and reporting.
- Develops, implements, and monitors the deployment plan for NTS/EORE teams within the designated project area.
- Manages NTS team leaders directly.
- Coordinates with the HMA team to coordinate NTS/EORE activities with other areas of humanitarian clearance.
- Provides support to the Operations Manager (OM) / Senior Technical Advisor (STA) in relation to NTS/EORE.
- Assists OM/STA in preparing donor proposals and reports related to NTS/EORE activities.
- Acts as DCA Focal Pointon NTS/EORE issues and promotes an integrated approach involving other DCA sectors.
Requirements:
Mandatory:
- At least 3 years of experience in humanitarian demining, including team management.
- Mandatory Non-Technical Survey Qualification.
- Successful completion of the Non-Technical Survey Training of Trainers Qualification.
- Deminer Qualification required.
- Good command of the Ukrainian language and basic knowledge of English.
- High leadership, communication skills and ability to make decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian.
Desired:
- Qualification of IMAS EOD Level 3 (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in non-governmental or international organizations.
- Training in first aid.
- Free proficiency in written and spoken English.

The NTS EORE Coordinator will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective conduct of NTS/EORE activities, ensuring compliance with DCA SOP’s, IMAS and national mine action standards.
The role requires proven leadership in field operations, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage and motivate the NTS/EORE teams in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities
- NTS/EORE Coordinator will supervise DCA NTS/EORE teams on the assigned area of operations.
- NTS/EORE Coordinator shall ensure the implementation of NTS/EORE processes follows relevant DCA SOPs, NMAS and IMAS guidelines, including desk research, individual interviews, focus group discussions, key stakeholders' interviews and reporting.
- Develop, implement and monitor NTS/EORE team deployment plan within project AoO
- Line manage NTS Team Leaders.
- Liaise with HMA team to coordinate NTS/EORE with other HMA activities
- Assist the OM/STA in external liaison that focus on NTS/EORE
- Assist the OM/STA in providing input for NTS/EORE donor proposals and reports
